Connecting to the helpdesk
When you land on a helpdesk, the server looks for available helpdesk agents. The number of available agents is displayed for your convenience. If one or more agents are available, enter your name and a description of what you want to talk about, and you will be connected to the helpdesk.
Using the helpdesk
Once connected you will be transferred to the chat area. You can type and receive messages which will appear in the top part of the screen. Common smileys, email addresses and links are also supported. The agent can also send you small files that you can download.
NOTE: Clicking on a link, or navigating to a different page within your browser's window will terminate your discussion. Do that only when your chat is finished, or simply close the window.
Searching for helpdesks
Typically, helpdesk owners will direct their users directly to their helpdesk on chatblox.com. However, it is also possible to search through registered helpdesks.
Clicking on the helpdesks tab brings you to the search form. Enter a title and/or a description and the site will search through available helpdesks and return you the most relevant.
